Y Gen - Camille Gossett

Camille Gossett is an MPH candidate, with a concentration in community health practice, at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has a background in health and wellness promotion from University of North Carolina at Asheville. Camille has a passion for advancing and supporting the well-being of underserved populations by way of addressing the social determinants of health and promoting progressive, systemic reform. Camille participated in multiple community initiatives with various community partners during her tenure in Asheville, NC. These experiences ranged from advocacy and programmatic interventions within the Buncombe county homeless community, to nutritional educational programs disseminated in the public-school system. She serves UCFZ as administrative assistant and manages the core student team that is involved in our community partnerships. Camille lives in Mount Holly, NC with her husband and two children. In her leisure time, she enjoys hiking and equestrian activities.
